Nick Owen: Managing Director
Nick's career spanning over 25 years in Australian and global financial markets. Nick has significant expertise in all aspects of Australian interest rate markets with direct experience gained from working in funds management and with UBS investment bank. Nick has provided advice to major government and large infrastructure borrowers on funding strategies Nick is PS 146 compliant and completed the SIA Certificate and Diploma course, and is a financial markets accredited dealer.
Andrew Varlamos: CEO
Andrew has over 20 years experience as a lawyer, management consultant, corporate finance advisor and business executive in Australia, Asia and the US. Andrew has degrees in Law and Commerce from Melbourne University, and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK.
Garrick Higgins: Independent Director
Garrick Higgins practises in the corporate and securities industry area including mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, capital raisings, company floats and joint ventures. He also has an extensive general corporate practice having been a commercial lawyer for more than 25 years.
His major clients include public and private companies, stockbrokers and investment bankers.His areas of expertise include Compliance and Governance, Corporate, Equity Capital Markets, Funds Management, Infrastructure, Insolvency and Reconstruction, Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions, Mining and Metals, Oil and Gas, Project and Project Finance, Property, Resources and Technology.
Garrick is admitted to practice in Victoria and Queensland. He has been a director of a number of public companies and currently holds the following positions:
Director of ASX Listed Essential Petroleum Resources Limited (oil and gas explorer and producer);
Chairman of In-tellinc Pty Ltd (the Tasmanian based incubation company);
Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of Prime Mortgage Group Limited (the Melbourne based mortgage originator and investment bank).
